Complete or Update Your Channel Details

Introduction

Once you create a Partner Hub account, you will be prompted to complete your channel details. This allows you to provide more information about your online presence. You can also update these details at any time if they change.

Instructions

Follow these steps to see and manage your marketing channel:

  1. Go to Account in the navigation header and click Social Channels. This takes you directly to the Channel Settings tab of the Settings page.
  2. Use the progress bar on the left to see how much of your profile is complete. Use the navigation menu under this progress bar or scroll through the page to find and enter information for the sections below.
  3. As you make updates, click the Save button to avoid losing your progress.

Social Channels

This section lists common social media platforms. If applicable, enter your username for the accounts you use to support your main marketing channel. Some can be authenticated, which proves to a brand that you are the owner of your accounts and provides them with a clickable link to your social media profile. View the instructions for authenticating your accounts.

Channel Information

Use this section to update or add any data associated with the selected channel, including:

  • The channel's profile name, URL, and description.
  • Visitor and view counts. You can also link your Google Analytics.
  • Audience demographics.
  • The channel's primary business model and categories.
  • Main contact information.

Paid Placement

Use this section to provide details about paid placements if you offer these. You can upload additional supporting media and placement opportunity PDFs.

User-Generated Content

Many websites allow visitors to post comments, leave reviews, participate in forums, and add other types of content. Use this section to indicate whether your site allows user-generated content and provide details on the kind of content if it does.

Newsletters

Use this section to indicate whether you send newsletters to your subscribers.

Mobile App

Use this section to indicate whether you have a mobile application and provide information about it.

Downloadable Software Applications

Use this section to indicate whether you have a Downloadable Software Application (DSA). We have specific guidelines on how DSAs are implemented and used, and all DSAs must go through our DSA approval process.

Users

This is where you can see all account users who have access to the channel.

Preferences

Use this section to set your minimum payment threshold to a currency amount higher than 50.

Pause Channel

Pausing your channel puts it on hold. Your existing partnership will remain in place, and you will still be paid for commissions earned before you pause the channel. However, you will not be able to earn additional commissions until you resume your channel.

Follow these steps to pause your channel:

  1. Click the arrow to open the drop-down.
  2. Click the Pause channel button. You will be prompted to confirm your action before proceeding.
